The pieces of tourmaline from this small pocket are unlike anything else I have ever seen. By this statement, I am pinpointing the milky-white section underneath the greenish-yellow termination. I had seen clear, or colorless, tourmaline before, but never had I seen such a thing as this milky-white section. I sorted through the entire small parcel and eventually purchased this specimen, which I believe to be the prize of the parcel. The termination is a pulsating, greenish-yellow color, which is even more exhilarating to view while looking straight down onto the top of it and moving the specimen around in the light. The milky-white zone is very thick for these pieces as well, which was a great selling point for me. The rest of the crystal is very gemmy and flows into a deep, forest green followed by a mixture of orange and pink. To top it off, this tourmaline specimen has a few microlite crystals imbedded in its termination and one complete microlite crystal hanging from the side of it. Only a small number of these pieces had microlite growing on them. To say the least, this is quite a unique tourmaline specimen.
