The legendary Pederneira mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil, has produced some of the most breathtaking tourmaline specimens of all time, and this crystal certainly backs up this claim. This striking tourmaline pencil is overwhelmingly gemmy and bright. Its vibrant, electric-blue color is eons beyond ordinary. A thin, yellowish zone appears surprisingly, which is followed up by a captivating, rubellite red. This crystal's termination is just as perfect as the rest of this crystal. Small clusters of gemmy, purple lepidolite encrust small portions of the bottom of this remarkable tourmaline specimen.
