Brazilian alexandrite is the only alexandrite that rivals the original Russian deposits. This ring's exceptionally large (8.29 cts.), cushion cut, 100% natural, Brazilian alexandrite, is of museum grade in every sense. The strong color change ranges from a greenish-blue in natural light to a purplish-red in incandescent light, with an ideal saturation level. This gem also has excellent clarity. The ring is custom designed and signed by the artist. It is platinum and 18k rose gold, and contains 22 colorless, VS diamonds (0.90 cttw.). This is a stupendous piece of jewelry, and it is surely fit for a queen.
